Humans have visited lake Eyre for a few years now. Lake Eyre use to be a very spiritual area. From tens of thousands of years ago Aboriginals settled on this land. Now humans pitch up the tent and stay the night at Lake Eyre National Park. The park is located on the east side of the lake. Providing land and toilets for campers. To enter the park you must have a Dessert parks pass or day entry permit. If you prefer more of a indoors environment there is also a caravan park at the nearby town of Marree.
